‍ Dear Families of NCFASD Informed:
Schools are opening or have already opened. For most of our families, the year will begin with virtual learning; the question remains how long that mode of learning will continue. While my daughter is a young adult and no longer in school, I realize that the coming academic year brings a good deal of hardship to so many and for different reasons….and on top of that having a child or two or more with an FASD makes it even more difficult.
HOMESCHOOL: Is it the Right Choice for my Family?
Have you ever wondered if homeschooling might be a good option for your child? Caregiver and FASD advocate, NatalieVecchione of NCFASD Informed will help you identify whether your child may find success with homeschooling and share tips for making it work in today's world.

PODCAST SERIES
So far, we have 11 "FASD Informed" podcast episodes in our library. 11 is an odd number, but for our" Little FASD Podcast That Could," it is 11 podcasts of learning about FASD (including homeschooling). Visit Podbean, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts and Stitcher to catch up on any missed episodes!
As we continue journeys with our loved ones with FASD, I hope that you will find our resources helpful to your family. I appreciate your personal efforts to spread awareness of FASD throughout North Carolina by talking to your friends and professionals who work with your child.Â
With Hope,
Kathy Hotelling
