FASD Respect Act - We Need Your Voice!

FASD Respect Act - We Need Your Voice!

ā€ļ»æEducate. Support. Empower.

ā€We areĀ reaching out today to ask for your help in supporting an incredibly important cause – advocating for individuals and families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).Ā Ā The FASD Respect Act (S.1800/HR.3946) is at a critical stage of the legislative process, and itĀ needs the help of people like you to ensure it passes.

Ā

With FASD affecting 1 in 20 school-agedĀ children (not to mention the adults those children grow up to be), the prevalence of FASD does

not match its awareness or level of support. Your advocacy can change that.

Ā

The FASD Respect Act would provide much needed resources and support through diagnosisĀ and interventional services, thoughtful prevention messaging, education for healthcareĀ professionals, and awareness for everyone. By providing support to people with FASD, theirĀ families, and our systems of care; we are investing in valued members of our community,Ā helping them live happier, healthier lives.

Ā

You can make a significant difference right now by contacting your Representative andĀ Senators today, urging them to co-sponsor and support this critical legislation. It only takes a few minutes to call or send an email, and your voice could be the one that makes theĀ difference.

IT'S EASY TO HELP!
